The Dr. K Story
Peace & Blessings!
My name is Karlus Monte` Allen, but apparently, “Dr. K” has caught on really quickly since I became a Doctor of Chiropractic ;-). After over a decade of dealing with chronic knee pain, allergy-onset asthma, and all of the customary body aches that constitute the “I’m Just Gettin’ Old” mindset of the typical American man in his 40's, just 6 weeks of regular Chiropractic care changed my life forever. The aggravating knee pain I would experience while constantly walking up and down the stairs of our Heights townhome was virtually gone, making for more enjoyable playtime with my son and daughter. As an active recording artist & musician, restoration of free, voluminous breathing allowed me to once again belt out those soul-stirring notes at my shows.
Fast forward to about a year later, still enjoying a newfound “powered-on” life, I was happy, but yet still longed for the fulfillment of a deeper purpose for my life; and while my modest music career still provided great joy, it had not provided the stability/consistency that I desired as a Husband and Father. The months that would follow served to clearly illuminate Chiropractic was the pathway to the fulfillment I longed for, but the thought of the immenseness of it all was a source of fear and doubt. It was two heartfelt conversations, one with my fantastic wife Deidra, a brilliant Medical Doctor herself, and another with my
Chiropractor provided me with the resolve I needed to answer this calling finally. A graduate of Texas Chiropractic College, I am honored and overjoyed to be chosen to do this life-changing work. I would cherish the opportunity to explore how our services could meet your immediate and long-term needs.
